The Challenge
A financial platform needed to migrate from legacy on-premise servers to modern cloud infrastructure. The original estimate was 8 hours of downtime, which was unacceptable for a platform processing millions in daily transactions.
Our Solution
We designed a blue-green deployment strategy with database replication. We set up the new infrastructure on GCP, migrated data in real-time using change data capture, and performed a seamless cutover during off-peak hours with instant rollback capability.
The Results
The migration was completed with zero downtime. Performance improved by 45%, and the new infrastructure passed SOC2 compliance audits on the first attempt.
