Contact support
Email hello@acefina.com and put "Boom Dock" in the subject. Tell us your phone model, whether it runs iOS or Android, and what happened. For a purchase problem, add the order number from your Apple or Google Play receipt.
Restore purchases
Remove Ads is a one-time purchase that belongs to the Apple ID or Google account you bought it with. Boom Dock has no accounts of its own, so on a new or reinstalled phone, sign in to that same store account first, then restore it:
- On the level map, tap the Settings pill.
- Tap "Restore purchases".
On iPhone this uses Apple's restore. On Android, Google Play restores Remove Ads automatically when the game launches, from your purchase history, and the button checks again. If Remove Ads still isn't active, email hello@acefina.com with your order number and we'll help.
+1 slot is used straight away in the level you buy it for, so there is nothing to restore later. If you paid and the slot didn't appear, email us with the order number.
Apple or Google handles every payment, and refunds follow their rules. Ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, or Google on Google Play's refund request page.
Reset your progress
Boom Dock has no cloud save of its own. Progress is stored in the game's storage on your phone, so to start again from level 1:
- on iPhone, delete the game and install it again;
- on Android, find Boom Dock under Apps in your phone's Settings and clear its storage.
This also clears your settings. If you bought Remove Ads, see Restore purchases above afterwards.
If you want your anonymous stats deleted too, turn them off (below) before you reset. Otherwise our server drops them on its normal schedule: raw events after 90 days, and the install record after 13 months without activity.
Turn anonymous stats off
- On the level map, open Settings.
- Tap "Anonymous stats: On". It changes to "Anonymous stats: Off".
The stats already sent from your phone are deleted from our server, and nothing more is sent. If you turn them on again, the game starts with a new random ID. Players under 13, or who skipped the birth year, see no switch, because no stats are collected for them.
Where the law requires it, Settings also has "Ad privacy choices", which opens Google's form to change how your data is used for ads. The Boom Dock privacy policy lists everything the game collects.
Questions players ask
When do ads appear?
There are no full-screen ads in the first 10 levels. After that you see at most one every 3 minutes, and none after you buy Remove Ads. Rewarded ads only play when you choose to watch one.
What does Remove Ads do?
Remove Ads is a one-time $4.99 purchase that stops full-screen ads for good. Rewarded ads stay available, and you only see one when you tap to watch it.
Why does the game ask for my birth year?
The first screen asks for a birth year so the game can set up ads and stats for your age. The year stays on your phone and is never sent. For players under 13, or anyone who skips the question, ads are child-directed, no stats are collected and purchases need a parent check.
Why does my iPhone ask about tracking?
Players 13 and over on iOS are asked once, after clearing 3 levels. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, Google AdMob doesn't receive your iPhone's advertising ID. You can change your answer in the iPhone's Settings under Privacy & Security, then Tracking.
Does Boom Dock have accounts or cloud saves?
No. Boom Dock has no accounts and no cloud save of its own. Your progress is stored on your phone.
