001 / Vibe coding cleanup

Vibe coding cleanup services so it holds up.

Lovable, Bolt, Replit and Cursor get you to a demo quickly. We turn that AI-generated codebase into software you can put real customers on, and we keep what is good instead of rewriting it.

Audit: US$399 fixed · written report in 3 business days · credited in full to the fix.

002 / What typically breaks

Five places AI-generated apps fail with real users.

Auth

Logins and permissions

Sign-in works for you but not for everyone, sessions leak, or one customer can see another customer's data. We rebuild access control so each user sees only what they should.

Data model

A database that was never designed

Tables added one prompt at a time, duplicated fields, no migrations and no backups. We tidy the structure and put safe changes and backups in place without losing your data.

Security

Keys, inputs and exposed endpoints

API keys in the front end, unchecked inputs, open admin routes. We find them and close them before they cost you customers or money.

Performance

Slow pages and runaway bills

Queries on every click, no caching, oversized pages. We fix the handful of causes that make the app slow and expensive to run.

Deploy

It only works on the builder's preview

No staging, no repeatable deploy, secrets pasted into the tool. We set up a clean deploy you can repeat, with environments and rollbacks, on hosting you own.

002-01 / By tool

Vibe coding cleanup for Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, Replit and v0.

Each tool leaves its own kind of mess. These are the failure patterns each one tends to produce, and what we check first. One service covers all five.

Lovable

Lovable generates a front end that usually talks straight to a Supabase database, so a lot of the safety of the app depends on settings the prompt never mentioned.

  • Row-level security missing or too loose, so data can be read or changed by someone who should not see it
  • Business rules and secrets that run in the browser instead of on a server
  • Login and redirect settings that work in the preview but not on your own domain
  • Edits that fix one screen and quietly break another, because nothing tests the flows

Bolt

Bolt builds and previews inside the browser, so the app can look finished while the real build and deploy have never been exercised.

  • A project that runs in the preview but fails when built and deployed elsewhere
  • Environment variables and API keys placed in client code
  • Dependencies pinned loosely or duplicated after many rounds of prompting
  • Large files rewritten wholesale by prompts, which leaves regressions behind

Cursor

Cursor edits a real repository, so the code is easier to rescue, but each session can follow different conventions and leave the codebase inconsistent.

  • The same helper written three ways, and a different pattern in each part of the app
  • API routes written for the happy path, with authorisation checks missing
  • Refactors applied to some files and not others, plus dead code left behind
  • Tests that exist but assert very little, or no tests at all

Replit

Replit Agent builds and hosts the app in one place, which makes it quick to start and harder to leave or to run safely.

  • Development and production sharing one database, so an edit can touch live data
  • Secrets and configuration tied to the Replit workspace rather than to your own accounts
  • A project that cannot be built or run outside Replit without rework
  • No repeatable deploy, staging copy or rollback

v0

v0 is strongest at interface code, so what you export is often a good-looking front end with little behind it.

  • Forms and buttons that look wired up but do not submit or save anything
  • Hard-coded sample data standing in for a real database
  • No sign-in, validation or authorisation on the routes that were added around the components
  • Server and client code mixed up in ways that break once real data arrives

Once the app holds up, the next step may be a launch: finish your MVP with a scoped first release.

003 / How it works

Cleanup without the rewrite, wherever possible.

01

Free review

You send the repo or app link and tell us what is wrong. We read it and tell you in plain language what we see and whether we are the right people to fix it. The first review is free and there is no sales call. You decide whether to book the audit.

02

Fixed-scope cleanup audit

We review the codebase against the five areas above and give you a written list of findings, ranked by risk, in 3 business days for US$399. Where the code is sound we keep it. Where it is not, we say which part needs rebuilding and why.

03

Fixed quote, then the work

You get a written plan and a fixed quote for the stabilise-or-finish work. You approve it, or you take the report and go elsewhere. Either way you keep everything we produced.

Send us the app and the repo.

Tell us which tool built it and what is breaking. You get an honest read on whether it needs a cleanup, a partial rebuild or nothing at all.

US$399

Fixed, for one app and one repository.

Turnaround
Written report in 3 business days after we have access
If you go ahead
The full US$399 is credited to the fix if you book it within 30 days
Payment
Pay by card online, or ask first. If the app turns out to be more than one app and one repository, we refund in full before starting

What the audit includes

  • We read the repository and run the app, not only the code
  • A written report: findings ranked by risk, each tied to the file or area it affects
  • A prioritised fix list you can hand to any developer
  • A clear verdict for each area: keep it, fix it in place, or rebuild that part

Unusually large codebase, or several services? Ask first and you get a fixed quote before you pay. If you already paid and it turns out larger, we refund in full before starting.

004 / What you get

Your prototype, made safe to launch.

  • The problems named in plain language, ranked by what could hurt you first
  • Fixes made in your existing code where it is sound, so you keep your momentum
  • Login, data and payment flows checked with realistic use, not only the happy path
  • A repeatable deploy on your own hosting, out of the builder tool
  • Notes on how it is put together, so you or the next developer can keep building
005 / Who it is for

Founders and teams in the US, UK, EU and Australia who shipped with AI.

You have a working demo, maybe a few users, and a growing worry about what happens when more arrive. This page is for AI-generated codebases. If a developer or agency walked away from a project, see software project rescue instead.

007 / FAQ

Questions we get before people start.

Do we have to rewrite the app?

Not by default. The audit tells you which parts are fine and which are not. AI-built apps can often be fixed in place; where a part cannot, we say so and explain what a rebuild of that part involves before you commit.

Which tools do you work with?

Code from Lovable, Bolt, Replit, Cursor and similar AI builders, once it is in a repository we can read. If it has not been exported yet, we show you how in the free review.

Can you keep using the AI tool afterwards?

Yes, if you want to. We set the project up so it stays maintainable, and we write down the conventions so AI-assisted edits do not undo the fixes.

How is this different from software project rescue?

Cleanup is for AI-generated codebases that work but are fragile. Rescue is for projects abandoned or left unfinished by a developer or agency. Some projects are both, and the free review tells you which path fits.

How does pricing work?

The review is free. The cleanup audit is US$399 fixed for one app and one repository, with the written report in 3 business days. Then you get a fixed quote for the fixes, and the US$399 is credited to it if you go ahead within 30 days.

Who owns the code and the data?

You do. Once the work is paid for, the code we write is yours, as our terms state, and we work in your repository and your accounts throughout. We will sign your NDA before you share anything sensitive.

What is vibe coding cleanup?

It is the work of taking an app built mostly by prompting an AI tool and making it safe to run with real users: fixing access control, the database, secrets, error handling and deployment, while keeping the code that already works.

Can you fix an app built with Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, Replit or v0?

Yes. Each tool leaves different problems, which is why this page has a section for each. The code needs to be in a repository we can read, and if it is not, the free review shows you how to export it.

Is it safe to launch an AI-built app as it is?

Often not without a check. A demo that works for you can still expose other users' data, leak keys or fail under real use. The audit tells you which of those apply, ranked by risk, before you put customers on it.
